We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Corporate Trainer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Trainer to deliver high-quality soft skills training.
• The Corporate Trainer will be responsible for delivering and evaluating training programs that focus on improving communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, time management, emotional intelligence, and other interpersonal skills essential for personal and professional success.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation skills, a passion for employee development, and the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and virtual training sessions on a wide range of soft skills topics.
• Collaborate with teams to assess training needs and identify skill gaps to customize training programs accordingly.
• Use interactive training techniques, such as role-playing, group activities, and case studies, to ensure active participation and engagement during training sessions.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, feedback, and post-training evaluations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in soft skills development and corporate training methodologies, incorporating new tools and approaches into training sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
• Certification in Training & Development or similar qualifications is a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in delivering corporate training programs, with a focus on soft skills development.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners.
• Proficiency in creating and delivering training materials (e.g., PowerPoint, e-learning platforms) is an advantage
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to assess training needs and adapt content accordingly.

Key Competencies

• Ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to lead and inspire participants during training sessions.
• Flexibility in handling diverse audiences and training environments.
• Works well with cross-functional teams to support learning initiatives.
