Job Title: Intern Photographer (Event and Multimedia)

Location: Amac, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Internship (3-6 months)

Job Description

• Are you a budding photographer with a passion for capturing memorable moments? Are you looking for hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of events and multimedia production? Join our dynamic team at a leading Event and Multimedia company based in Abuja, Nigeria, as an Intern Photographer and develop your skills while working on exciting projects!

Responsibilities

• Assist the photography team in capturing high-quality images at live events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings.
• Help set up and operate photography equipment such as cameras, lenses, lighting, and tripods.
• Learn and support in photo editing, retouching, and preparing images for client delivery using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other editing software.
• Organize and maintain photography equipment before, during, and after events.
• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop photography concepts for projects and campaigns.
• Help manage and store digital files, ensuring all event images are cataloged and backed up.
• Stay updated with the latest photography trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• Passion for photography and a desire to learn and grow in the industry.
• Basic knowledge of photography techniques and an interest in event photography.
• Fair familiarity with photography equipment (DSLR cameras, lenses, lighting) is a must.
• Some experience in photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom is an advantage but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and creativity in capturing the essence of events.
• Good communication skills and the ability to take direction and collaborate with a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on event schedules.

Requirements

• No formal experience required, but a portfolio or sample work showcasing your photography skills is highly encouraged.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Photography, Media, or Creative Arts.
• Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and adapt to different photography styles and environments.
