Job Title: Procurement Manager

Responsibilities
The Procurement Manager will be involved in overseeing and managing the organization's procurement processes.
This role involves sourcing and purchasing products, materials, and services from local and international vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement operations align with company goals, budgets, and regulations.
The Procurement Manager works closely with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of quality goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best deals.
Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor relationships to ensure service quality and delivery.
Develop and maintain strategic sourcing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
Oversee the procurement of goods and services necessary for the business.
Ensure accurate and timely purchase orders, requisitions, and contract documentation.
Manage inventory levels, optimize stock levels, and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines in all procurement activities.
Manage contract renewals and amendments.
Develop and manage the procurement budget in line with company's financial objectives.
Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Monitor and report on procurement spending to ensure alignment with budgets.
Identify risks related to supply chain management and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure that all procurement activities are compliant with regulatory requirements.
Stay up-to-date on market trends and conditions that may affect procurement activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and engineering, to align procurement activities with overall business goals.
Foster strong internal relationships to understand business needs and ensure seamless procurement processes.
Analyze procurement data to inform decision-making.
Prepare reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost savings.
Utilize data-driven insights to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent understanding of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
Proficiency in procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
Knowledge of relevant legal regulations, contract law, and compliance requirements.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
