Global Alliance for Chemical Industry (GACI), is an agrochemical manufacturing entity in Nigeria that formulates and produces high-quality technical grade herbicides and insecticides.

Job Title: Factory Data Analyst

Location: Kano

Job Description

• The Factory Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data related to production processes, equipment performance, and operational efficiency in the factory.
• This role involves gathering, interpreting, and reporting on data to help improve productivity, optimize processes, and support decision-making.
• The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, recommend process improvements, and ensure data accuracy and compliance with factory standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Gather, interpret, and analyze factory data to identify trends and optimize processes.
• Track key factory performance metrics, such as equipment uptime and production efficiency, and provide real-time analysis.
• Use data insights to recommend and implement process enhancements alongside engineering and production teams.
• Ensure the integrity of factory data, maintain accurate records, and resolve data quality issues.
• Work closely with factory floor staff, engineers, and management to align data analysis with operational needs.
• Assist in the selection and maintenance of data analytics tools and stay current on new technologies in the manufacturing sector.
• Track inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure all production documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and regulations.
• And any other reasonable tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements

• Must be currently in Kano
• Must be present for a physical interview
• Must have prior experience as a Data Analyst in Factory.

Salary
N80,000 - N150,000 monthly.
