Overview of the Role

• We are seeking a creative and passionate Content Creator to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a talent for storytelling, strong writing and visual content creation skills, and experience managing content across social media and digital platforms.
• You will play a key role in building awareness for our cause, engaging with our audience, and inspiring support for our foundation’s work.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling, relevant, and timely content (written, visual, and video) that tells the story of the foundation’s work and impact.
• Manage and grow our social media presence by posting regular updates, responding to comments, and tracking engagement on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Write articles, blog posts, newsletters, and other digital content that communicates the foundation’s vision and mission.
• Capture high-quality photos and videos of events, initiatives, and beneficiaries to support storytelling and advocacy efforts.
• Collaborate with the Group's communications team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns aimed at increasing awareness, engagement, and donations.
• Monitor and engage with online communities, donors, volunteers, and stakeholders to build a sense of community around the foundation’s work.
• Track and analyze content performance using analytics tools and provide recommendations for improving engagement and reach.
• Collaborate with the Group's UI/UX/Design team to design visuals and graphics to support social media posts, reports, and campaigns.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Foundation's Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• Proven experience as a content creator, social media manager, or similar role (preferably within the non-profit sector).
• Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design/video software.
• Ability to create engaging visual content (photography, videography, and graphic design).
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and SEO best practices.
• Passion for social impact, community development, or the foundation’s mission.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of local languages and cultural context (added advantage).
• Must reside in Abuja.
