Overview of the Role

• We are looking for a talented and experienced Content Writer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate is a creative writer with a strong understanding of the fintech industry, capable of producing high-quality, engaging, and informative content that resonates with our target audience.
• You will play a critical role in shaping our brand voice, educating customers, and driving engagement through various content platforms.

Specific Responsibilities

• Write clear, compelling, and engaging content for a variety of platforms, including blogs, websites, social media, email newsletters, whitepapers, and product descriptions.
• Develop SEO-optimized content that drives organic traffic and improves the company's visibility on search engines.
• Create persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, product launches, and advertising that align with the company’s brand tone and voice.
• Work with the marketing team to develop content strategies that support product launches, customer education, and overall brand awareness.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the social media team to create and optimize content for various social media platforms, driving engagement and customer interaction.
• Track and analyze content performance using analytics tools and provide recommendations for improving engagement and reach.
• Write compelling customer newsletters, product updates, and promotional campaigns.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the fintech sector to produce content that is relevant and informative.
• Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure content aligns with the overall company vision and product messaging.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Product Officer.

Technical Knowledge / Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university
• Experience with data-driven content strategies.
• Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role, preferably in the fintech or tech industry.
• Ability to write SEO-optimized content.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
• Familiarity with digital marketing strategies
• Strong research skills to understand complex fintech topics and simplify them for a general audience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must reside in Abuja.
