Job Title: Business Development Manager - Power and Renewable Energy

Description
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in both the power and renewable energy markets.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in power distribution, renewable energy, and related sectors.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share in both electrical and renewable energy sectors.
Sales Management:
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients.
Negotiate contracts and terms to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Client Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure long-term partnerships.
Technical Consultation:
Provide expert guidance on transformer sizing, energy metering, and renewable energy system integration.
Work with engineering teams to address client challenges during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
Grant Research and Application:
Identify relevant grants and funding opportunities in the power and renewable energy sectors.
Assist clients with grant applications by providing technical data and commercial information.
Team Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and other internal teams to ensure compliance and support for projects.
Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions to enhance visibility.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the power distribution or renewable energy sectors.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with knowledge of transformers and energy meters.
Experience with grant research and application processes is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
