AddEdge Solutions Limited - Our client is a reputable and fast-growing polystyrene (Styrofoam) molding manufacturing company based in Lagos, driven by progress and thriving on the challenge of relentless improvement.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Factory Manager

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operating of the factory.
• Facilitates, directs, maintenance and support all groups in the production of a quality product that “exceeds our customers’ expectation.
• Create physical models of product blueprints through Polyurethane Vacuum Casting & Silicone rubber mould.
• Develop and validate standard work instructions for assigned processes
• Responsible for troubleshooting and direct production team as needed to ensure quality standard are meet and notifying the maintenance team for trouble shooting and root cause issues with the machines
• Ensure Models & samples built are within specification & requirement.
• Develop & document process techniques for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate sample defect's root cause & determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the workplace & ensuring compliance with Safety & Health guideline in the workplace.
• Coordinate with external parties for outsourcing job, material purchases and machine services.
• Review and compare technical specifications for new technology and machines.

Requirements

• Preferably a Mechanical Engineer with 8 years of hands-on experience in similar manufacturing machinery operations and maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge in engineering plastic material - mechanical & technical data.
• Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Intermediate knowledge of 3D CAD modeling designs
• Familiar with plastic / metal part design and manufacturing processes.
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Ability to come up with new ways of doing things.
• Good time management skills on individual tasks and when coordinating work with others.
• Responsible for completing other tasks and projects as directed by leadership to ensure the success of the Industry.
• A high level of analytical ability is required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Immediately address any potential safety issues with the appropriate personnel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill..

Benefits

• Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
• Accommodation available in Factory.
