Job Summary
Direct and oversee RPM’s organization's Sales, objectives, and initiatives.
Set short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of current sales programs and sales support and operations procedures.
Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
Job Description
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the business units; projecting expected sales volume and profit
Manage, develop, coach, control, and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Develop new customers, prospect new opportunities, and foster good customer relationship for revenue growth and customer retention
Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of products, applications, and technologies for product sales
Develop and manage margins, costs, budgeting, and forecasting
Supporting all functions of the business to work together
Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the and manage the team program accordingly
Provides recommendations regarding hiring, promotion, discipline, and firing to which the Company gives significant weight.
Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals
Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them
Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics.
Develop and implement procedures best fit for the running of the Sales Support Team
Achieve operational objectives by contributing to sales engineering support information and documentation.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in any related field but an added advantage in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
MBA is an added advantage.
A minimum of 6 years of corporate B2B direct selling and sales management/relationship, experience in related industries in Cement, Manufacturing, Food & Beverages, Oil &Gas, FMCG, Aluminum and Steel, Power etc.
Experience corporate B2B direct selling and sales management/relationship.
Experience in sales of machines and parts (Generators, Compressors, Pumps, and other heavy machinery).
Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
