Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mining expert to join our team. As the Head of Mining Operations, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the mining contractors across different sites to deliver profitable values to the shareholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of mining operations, including safety, exploration, production, and logistics, to ensure targets are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Manage a large team of mining professionals and foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term mining strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
• Oversee the exploration, development, and production of mining operations across the company's various sites, ensuring targets are met safely, efficiently, and within budget.
• Establish and manage productive relationships with stakeholders, including regulators, contractors, and local communities, to ensure the smooth operation of mining activities.
• Develop and implement stringent safety and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure employee safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Implement robust systems and procedures for inventory management, supply chain management, and logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery of mined materials.
• Manage a large and diverse team of mining professionals and contractors; provide necessary support to ensure their continued growth and development.
• Identify performance optimization opportunities to enhance bottom-line financial benefits.
• Monitor mining operational performance against the budget and ensure production quotas and procedures are met.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on mining operations performance, issues, and opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining or Geology Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in the mining industry, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Extensive knowledge of mining operations, including exploration, production, and logistics.
• Knowledge of mining regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
