Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and effective resource utilization.
This role requires a minimum of 10 years of practical experience in project management within the real estate and property construction industry, along with relevant educational qualifications and proficiency in office tools and relevant software.
Additionally, the ideal candidate should have the ability to audit materials usage by site engineers on the construction site. Please note that this position has an age requirement ranging from 45 to 55 years, and possession of professional certifications like COREN, NSE, or similar is preferred.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinated, and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of materials usage by site engineers on the construction site to ensure compliance with project requirements and minimize wastage.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
Monitor project budgets, expenses, and cash flow to ensure cost-effective resource utilization and financial viability.
Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and risk assessments.
Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.
Conduct regular project meetings to communicate project status, address concerns, and ensure effective collaboration.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and evaluate project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Requirements
Must have worked with an established construction company on this role
Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in project management within the real estate and property construction industry.
Relevant educational qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Proficiency in using Excel office tools for data analysis and reporting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage project teams and stakeholders.
Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry best practices.
Experience in auditing materials usage by site engineers to ensure compliance and minimize wastage.
Age requirement: 45-55 years.
Possession of professional certifications like COREN, NSE, or similar is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
