Job Title: Grant, Fundraiser, and Partnership Officer

Job Description
Identify and secure grant opportunities that align with the Foundation's thematic areas, and prepare comprehensive outlines for applications.
Conduct in-depth analysis of grant application guidelines, calendars, and terms of reference to ensure successful submission of proposals.
Develop competitive project concepts that align with the goals of funding organizations.
Create project ideas in alignment with the Rolan Foundation’s community development goals.
Build and maintain relationships with donor agencies, including attending call for proposal briefings and meetings.
Design and structure project proposals that identify the problem context, methodology, target audience, and expected outcomes.
Prepare concept notes and full proposals in line with donor requirements and organizational priorities.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all supporting documents for grant applications are prepared and submitted.
Create and maintain a stakeholder mapping strategy, identifying key stakeholders, analyzing their influence and interest, and developing engagement plans.
Effectively follow through with stakeholder engagement, ensuring communication, meetings, and follow-up actions are managed for positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
Preparing comprehensive documents for grant applications, including concept notes, proposals, project work plans, budgets, team profiles, risk assessments, impact assessments, and full proposals.
Evaluating the feasibility and potential impact of proposed projects.
Coordinating with stakeholders and agencies on project proposals.
Managing and safeguarding project ideas and grant applications from competitors.
Ensuring timely submission of all grant and partnership-related documents before deadlines.
Developing and implementing strategies for fundraising events, including the planning, coordination, and management of on-site activities.
Cultivating relationships with potential partners and sponsors to support the Foundation's projects.
Creating detailed stakeholder maps to identify key contacts, prioritize their engagement, and ensure a systematic approach to stakeholder management.
Following through with stakeholder interactions, tracking communication progress, and ensuring continuous alignment with the Foundation's goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant Science, Arts, or Social Science disciplines.
Post-graduate training in courses such as Project Management (a master’s degree would be an added advantage).
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in grant writing, fundraising, or partnership roles.
