We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of front-end development bestpractices, as well as experience in architecting, building and deploying complex web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex user interfaces using React, Typescript and Next.js
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry-standard coding practices
• Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and practices
• Collaborate with the backend team to design and integrate APIs
• Ensure the scalability and performance of the application
• Continuously monitor and improve the frontend architecture and codebase
• Develop reusable components and libraries
• Keep up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Frontend Development, with a focus on React and Next.js
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development
• Strong understanding of web development best practices and design patterns
• Experience in developing complex user interfaces and integrating APIs
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS
• Familiarity with Git and Git workflows
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Experience with server-side rendering
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
