A good knowledge of the potential hazards associated with construction activities and willingness to intervene in cases of unsafe acts or non-compliance.
Good communication skills and ability to integrate with project management team and Contractor’s staff.
Review of Quality Management Documents for DWP Projects
Review Project Documents to ensure quality management requirements are covered
Review as built drawings.
Review Vendor Documets for Completeness and fit for purpose
Attend project meetings and ensure Quality Management Concerns are highlighted and addressed
Carry out Vendor Facility Inspections and Audits.
Participate in Project Kick meeting to ensure Quality Assurance and Control Requirements are re-emphasised during the session.
Participates in HAZID and HAZOP Sessions for DWP Projects
Carry out Fabrication Yards Inspections and audits.
Follow-up of inspection and test plans activities
Carry out Material Receipt Inspections at the Logistic Base
Monitor/withness Offshore Installation works for DWP projects to ensure Zero-Defect and Flawless delivery
Participate in Design Reviews and Workshops
Participate in construction/Constructability Reviews and Workshops
Review welding procedures specifications, witness of welding procedures qualification tests, NDT, post weld heat treatment, coating, pressure testing procedures;
Coordinate and/or perform quality inspections and reviews of documentation on critical equipment
co-ordinates and manage deployed QA/QC personnel assigned to the project team.
Audits of Contractors facilities, equipment, quality systems;
Audits of NDT contractors facilities in respect with NNRA safety requirements;
Assessment of contractor quality performance for the project duration
Review of project final quality documentation packages;
Provide focused expertise on quality matters for the project.
Identify quality improvement opportunities in order to achieve the HSSE and project objectives.
Motivated individual with team working skills, “can do” attitude, prepared to stretch personal and professional goals.
Qualifications
HND/Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or other technical discipline)
Certified ISO 9001 Lead auditor
CSWIP Level III
NDT Level II
CSWIP Plant Inspection or equivalent painting specifications
Must be conversant with government regulatory requirements, company specifications and international codes/standards like ISO, API, DNV, ASME etc.
Candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work with minimum supervision, using own initiative and knowledge in order to deliver sound and reliable support/advice to the PM.
Valid Certificate of Medical fit . BOSIET and Offshore Safety Permit.
