Job Title:  Marketing Coordinator

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Position Summary

• We seek a highly creative, detail-oriented, conceptual thinker who excels in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple ongoing projects.
• Reporting to the CEO / Registrar, the Marketing Coordinator will work with the Marketing and Events Manager to execute marketing and communication strategies, as well as assist with association events.

Major Accountabilities
Social Media & Branding:

• Manage social media platforms, create engaging content, and monitor media coverage.
• Develop visual elements, including videos and imagery, to support advertising initiatives.
• Engage association supporters through online channels and provide campaign-specific social media reports.

Email Marketing:

• Draft clear, concise, and engaging content for newsletters and e-blasts.
• Assist with various communications and marketing materials, and track email campaign performance and analytics.

Writing and Editing:

• Recommend enhancements to communication and marketing strategies.
• Highlight achievements and activities to stakeholders, aligning with the brand messaging framework.
• Meet timelines and ensure accuracy for communications materials.

Event Planning:

• Assist in planning and executing both in-person and virtual events, providing support and connecting with members, sponsors, and partners.
• Foster positive relationships with members during events and represent Centrepoint at all events.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• University Degree in Marketing and/or Communications and 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in organizing and executing communications, marketing, and promotional projects. - Previous experience in graphic design (Canva), Google Analytics, SEO, and event planning would be considered assets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, media monitoring software, and design and editing tools.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, along with strong research and problem-solving abilities.
