Job Title: Project Manager / Project Director - H / F
Are you ready to lead a high-impact Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project that will shape the future of energy? SPIE Global Services Energy is seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager/Director to oversee a major project in Lagos, Nigeria, valued between €10M and €50M.

Key Responsibilities
As Project Manager/Director, you will be responsible for:
Health & Safety: Prioritize the safety of all personnel, ensuring compliance with HSE goals and exceeding expectations where possible.
Operational Excellence: Guarantee adherence to SPIE's stringent quality assurance processes, maintaining the highest standards across all project phases.
Team Leadership: Manage a skilled team of engineers and labor resources, ensuring optimal performance to meet project timelines and budgets.
Progress Oversight: Provide regular updates on progress, problem areas, and potential risks, ensuring transparency and timely decision-making.
Contract Management: Negotiate variations, claims, and ensure that contractual obligations are met, while proactively identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Risk Mitigation: Anticipate and mitigate project risks while uncovering new opportunities for success.
Profile
Previous experience working on a O&G / refinery / petrochemical site with a proven background of successful project delivery.
Extensive knowledge of related HSEQ safe working practices/procedures.
10 years of demonstrable experience in similar role or senior position in project management.
Strong skills in contract and claim management.
Excellent communication and negociation skills.
Extensive knowledge of construction process, it's implementation and management.
Fully conversant with project management tools.
Ability to react to changing deadlines and achieve project goals / milestones.
Ability to manage / maintain budget / schedule requirements.

Proven Expertise: Significant experience in the oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry is essential.
Leadership Skills: A track record of managing multidisciplinary teams across different geographies.
Technical Acumen: Deep knowledge of EPC projects, particularly in the energy sector.
Resilience and Adaptability: Ability to thrive in challenging environments, particularly within Nigeria’s dynamic energy landscape.
