Job Description
Working with key stakeholders of the Service Team to perform Product Management duties, including capturing user stories, determining acceptance criteria, and story refinement.
Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
Performing User acceptance testing
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users
Monitoring deliverable and ensuring timely completion of projects
Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap.
Prioritize and refine the product backlog based on value, risk, and dependencies, ensuring it aligns with business priorities.
Oversee end-to-end project management processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews and retrospectives to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
Good skills in Product Management
Knowledge of Agile techniques and Business Driven Development.
Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
You have at least 4+ years of experience in a comparable role in a fast-growing/scale-up environment where you have worked on a variety of projects. Ideally in a role within fintech
Proven experience as Business Analyst /Product Owner in the fintech or startup space
Strong understanding of agile principles, values, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, etc) with the ability to apply them effectively in various contexts.
Solid knowledge of product management practices, including gathering requirements, prioritizing features, and defining product roadmaps.
Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies is a plus
Solid project management skills including project monitoring and reporting
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and facilitate open communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product lifecycle.
Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
Strong problem-solving aptitude and creative thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties
The ability to motivate others and lead change
The ability to work on multiple projects within your project time frames
A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change
Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach;
Nice to have:
Certified Product Owner (CSPO) or similar agile certifications.
Background in software development and program/Project management
