We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT / CISO Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

• The primary job function will involve in acquiring, installation and maintaining IT infrastructure together with the software implementation and maintenance for Fina Trust Microfinance Limited head office and its branches.

Primary Responsibilities
IT Strategy Preparation:

• Prepare the IT strategy for 3 years and ensure its implementation
• Be part of the IT Steering Committee.

Purchase of Hardware:

• Call Quotation, evaluate them & obtain approval
• Check the received hardware against the specification and store them safely
• Computer Hardware Inventory Maintenance
• Operating System and Software Installation.
• Installation and maintenance of PCs, laptops, printers and servers
• Transport Arrangements to branches.

Software Administration:

• User Creations to all the IT systems
• Access Granting/Modification/Revoking to all the systems and maintain access matrix
• Take/initiate backups of all systems periodically
• Restore backups frequently to check the completeness
• Monitor the application usage and over/under utilization of license
• Identify existing license and over/under usage for all system and application software
• Facilitate software licensing audits.

Disaster Recovery:

• Ensure the Disaster Recovery Policy is implemented and perform periodic DR drills with the team
• Software Maintenance & Project Management
• Provide remote and onsite technical support for end users.
• Liaise with end users to identify software CRs, issues which should be logged and tracked to closure.
• Carry out impact analysis for CRs
• Communicate with the software vendor regarding software upgrades, CRs, bug fixes etc.
• Review software maintenance agreements against the SLA and take actions.
• Manage software project implementations, coordinate with end users and vendor.
• Prepare project plan and manage IT projects.

Hardware Maintenance:

• Repair and Maintenance of Hardware
• Coordination with Vendors regarding hardware issues
• Trouble Shooting & Assistance regarding computer related Issues onsite and offsite
• Following Up After Sales Maintenance & Warranty Covers.
• Maintain and monitor Service Level Agreements
• Servicing hardware periodically
• Arranging deliveries, courier for repaired, replaced and new ICT hardware
• Recover data g. E-mail Accounts Administration.

New E-Mail Connections, Capacity Maintenance & Disconnections:

• Users E-mail Accounts' Setting up, Maintaining & Trouble Shooting
• Telephone System Handling,
• PBX Faults Maintenance
• Initiate Bill Payments
• First level support and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding any issues.

Internet Administration & Networking:

• Access Control Management § Faults Maintenance
• Fault Maintenance
• Provision internet for new branches / cash points
• Initiate Bill Payments & Cost Distribution
• Negotiation with internet service provider and monitor service agreements
• Coordination with the website development vendor for upgrades and maintenance.
• Firewall Administration
• Configuring firewall and maintaining Network Protection, Controls
• Monitor Unauthorized Access using a tool
• Control Internet Access Authority for Network Users.

IT Policy Implementation.

• Implement the Group IT policies formulated
• Ensure at all times the IT policies are adhered
• Revise the IT policies when required
• Carry out trainings to end users on the IT policies and its compliance.

IT Service Desk.

• Set up IT service desk with the involvement of Group IT
• Manage IT service desk issues and ensure they are resolved within the SLA
• Identify root causes and take corrective actions to the issues.

IT Budget Preparation.

• Prepare annual budgets for the IT infrastructure procurement and maintenance
• Monitor actual expenses
• Revise budgets during interim.

Database Administration:

• Create database users
• Database optimization.

Antivirus installation and maintenance:

• Install suitable antivirus to end user PCs/laptops/mobile/Tabs and servers
• Ensure antivirus definitions are updated regularly to all devices.
• Scan and clean infected hardware if any such devices are found.

Specific Device Management:

• Evaluate and assess suitable IT devices for the organization
• Facilitate and configure Bring Your Own Device
• Provide dongles
• APN/VPN Device Configurations
• CCTV installation and maintenance
• Install CCTV for head office and branches based on the requirement
• Vendor evaluation and shortlisting CCTV supplier
• Monitor SLA and negotiate with vendors.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a BSc / BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field;  MSC/MA, will be a plus
• Proven 5 - 10 experience as IT Manager, or Similar role
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Certified information security qualification is an added advantage, (CISSP), or CISM etc.
