We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Consultant, Obstetrics & Gynecology (In-house)

Location: Ughelli, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• This role is responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to obstetrics and gynecology patients in the hospital by diagnosing, treating, and helping to prevent diseases of women especially those affecting the reproductive system and the processes of childbirth.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise patient reviews, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
• Conduct/monitor surgical procedures, including cesarean sections
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive patient records
• Participate in case planning, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical audits
• Collaborate with Registrars and Consultants on investigations and treatments
• Participate in on-call shifts and rotas as required
• Provide high-quality patient care under supervision of senior medical staff
• Perform additional duties as assigned by senior leadership

Qualifications

• Must have a license to practice medicine from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Association
• Knowledge of O & G and other specialist areas of medical practice such as oncology,
  pathology, radiology and pediatrics.
• The job holder must have obtained certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the
  relevant professional body and licensed to practice as an OB-GYN.
• The job holder must have good stamina and empathy for patients.
• The job holder must have good communication skills, a strong ability to work well under
  extreme pressure and self-discipline.
