Job Summary
The Social Media Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing the social media strategy to enhance the online presence, engage customers, and promote the luxury brand of the salon.
This role requires creativity, a strong understanding of social media platforms, and the ability to create high-quality content that resonates with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the salon’s marketing goals and brand identity.
Identify key social media channels and determine the best strategies to utilize each platform effectively.
Content Creation:
Create engaging, high-quality content including images, videos, and written posts that reflect the luxury brand of the salon.
Collaborate with photographers, graphic designers, and videographers to produce visually appealing content.
Write compelling and creative captions, blog posts, and other written content that captures the salon’s voice and message.
Social Media Management:
Manage and oversee the salon’s social media accounts
Schedule and publish posts consistently, ensuring optimal engagement times.
Monitor social media channels for customer feedback, inquiries, and engagement, responding promptly and professionally.
Community Engagement:
Foster and grow an online community by engaging with followers, responding to comments, and initiating conversations.
Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance the salon’s social media presence.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
Provide regular reports on social media performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
Brand Awareness:
Maintain a deep understanding of the luxury beauty and wellness industry to stay informed about trends and competitors.
Ensure all social media activities are consistent with the salon’s brand image and values.
Campaign Management:
Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions to drive traffic, increase engagement, and attract new clients.
Coordinate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
Customer Service:
Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback received through social media channels promptly and professionally.
Work with the customer service team to ensure a seamless client experience.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Exceptional content creation skills, including photography, videography, and graphic design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to analyze social media metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
Creativity and a passion for beauty and luxury brands.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
