The Field Service Technician will play a crucial role in our operations by conducting on-site installations, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on a variety of equipment.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our clients, understanding their needs and providing technical expertise to ensure their equipment runs efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively in the field.

Responsibilities
Perform on-site installations of industrial equipment at customer locations
Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide effective solutions
Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure equipment functionality
Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used
Communicate effectively with clients regarding equipment status and recommendations
Train clients on proper use and maintenance of equipment
Collaborate with the support team to enhance service effectiveness and customer satisfaction
Requirements
Extensive Experience: Proven track record in servicing and maintaining industrial machines, with specific experience in electrical and electronic systems, including motor control systems, sensors, and automation components.
Mechanical & Pneumatic Aptitude: Familiarity with diagnosing and repairing mechanical components such as conveyor systems, bearings, and machine beds as well as pneumatic systems.
Automation and Control Systems Expertise: Knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), Servo drives, and other automation control systems used in woodworking machinery.
Diagnostic and Troubleshooting Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools to quickly identify and resolve both hardware and software issues on the machines.
Software Knowledge: Familiarity with CAD/CAM software or other CNC control software used in woodworking equipment will be an added advantage.
Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide quick, effective solutions.
Customer Training & Support: Ability to provide hands-on training to clients and internal team members on the operation, maintenance, repairs, and safety protocols for various woodworking machines.
Flexibility to Travel: The technician should be willing to travel to client sites for on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Safety-Conscious: Adherence to all relevant safety regulations and best practices when working with large industrial machinery.Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and systems.
