Description

• We seek an experienced Part-Time Primary Art and Design Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of art education within the British curriculum and a commitment to encouraging artistic expression in young learners.

Responsibilities 
The successful candidate will be:

• An excellent teacher and subject specialist at primary level that can teach high quality art and design lessons to pupils at primary level ranging from year 1-6.
• Confidently be able to teach children drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, pottery, sculpture and model making techniques
• Confident in the use of computers and enthusiastic about using new technology to enhance learning.
• Skilled at fostering independent, pupil-led learning
• Maintain an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes artistic expression and appreciation.
• Able to assess and evaluate students' artwork and progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

Requirements

• Must live within easy commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan.
• B.A/HND Degree in Fine Arts
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Package; especially Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
