Job Overview
We are seeking for an experienced Commercial and Industrial Solar Sales Specialist to lead our sales efforts in the commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors.
You will be a key player in driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and promoting CEESOLAR’s range of renewable energy solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly growing industry, where you will have a direct impact on sustainable energy adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets within the C&I sector.
Identify, target, and engage potential clients by understanding their energy needs and presenting tailored solar energy solutions.
Identify potential leads through networking, industry events, trade shows, and digital platforms.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnerships.
Conduct in-depth market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and shifts in customer preferences.
Adjust sales strategies accordingly to remain competitive.
Analyse client energy requirements and craft customized proposals and solutions that meet their specific business needs, including cost-benefit analyses and ROI.
Educate clients on the benefits of solar energy and financing options.
Provide clear and concise explanations about technical solutions, energy savings, and return on investment (ROI).
Prepare, deliver, and follow up on engaging presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of CEESOLAR’s energy solutions.
Draft, review, and finalize contracts in alignment with our company’s policy and legal standards.
Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms for both Ceesolar and the client while maintaining competitive pricing and high service standards.
Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Assess potential risks related to client creditworthiness, market changes, or project feasibility.
Mitigate risks by conducting thorough due diligence, verifying the financial stability of clients, and ensuring technical viability before committing to large-scale installations.
Provide excellent post-sales service, handling client inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and market insights using CRM software to track progress and inform future strategies.
Collaborate with CEESOLAR’s marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns, events, and promotional materials to support sales initiatives.
Stay updated on emerging industry trends, government regulations, and competitor activities to shape sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree / HND in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the renewable energy industry, specifically in the commercial and industrial sectors.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets in previous roles.
In-depth knowledge of renewable energy products, including commercial and industrial solar systems, energy storage, and financing options.
Strong understanding of the technical aspects of solar energy systems and the ability to communicate these effectively to clients.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders.
Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms to track and manage client interactions.
Knowledge of digital marketing and lead generation tools.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
A passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and environmental impact.
