Prime Strategic Services Limited - Our client, a Patriots and Veterans Welfare Initiative (PVWI; The PRIDE), is a nonprofit organization committed to improving the welfare of armed forces personnel, veterans, and their dependents. This initiative is aimed at boosting the morale of officers and recognizing their invaluable contribution to national security. The PRIDE serves as a platform for well-meaning Nigerians, corporate bodies, and international organizations to show patriotic support for the armed forces by enhancing their welfare and promoting community engagement. Through innovative projects, advocacy, and collaboration, The PRIDE strives to support the families and dependents of military personnel.

Job Title: Stakeholder Engagement Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract (4 Months with possibility of extension)

Job Summary

• The Stakeholder Engagement Officer will report to the Executive Director through the SVP Programme Manager.
• This role is critical in fostering and managing relationships with key stakeholders to promote the organization's mission of supporting military personnel, veterans, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing stakeholders, including partners, sponsors, collaborators, volunteers, and government organizations.
• Engage stakeholders on current and future projects of the organization, fostering collaboration and securing support.
• Facilitate the growth of the organization’s vision, seeking opportunities for funding, business development, and collaboration.
• Lead the implementation of approved projects, programs, and initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder involvement.
• Maintain accurate records of organizational activities and provide timely reports to support management decisions.
• Facilitate meetings and deliver presentations to stakeholders, representing the organization in various forums.
• Manage both traditional and digital platforms to promote the organization’s initiatives and meet marketing objectives.
• Provide executive assistance as needed to support the organization’s strategic objectives.
• Ensure the achievement of the organization's financial, customer, internal process, learning, and growth goals following the Balanced Scorecard approach.

Qualifications & Requirements

• HND/BSc in Social Sciences, Management Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, stakeholder relations, or program management, preferably in the nonprofit or service sector.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, integrity, and passion for the role.
