Job Title: Product Manager / Business Intelligence Professional
The Product Manager/Business Intelligence professional will play a crucial role in the strategic communications company by driving the development, implementation, and optimization of data-driven products and solutions.
The role requires a blend of product management, data analytics, and strategic thinking to enhance the company's offerings and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management:
Product Strategy and Roadmap:
Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy.
Create and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with company goals and market needs.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Analyze feedback from stakeholders to inform product development.
Product Development:
Lead cross-functional teams (including design, engineering, and marketing) to deliver high-quality products.
Define product requirements and specifications based on market analysis and stakeholder input.
Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor product performance using key metrics and analytics.
Implement changes and enhancements based on performance data and user feedback.
Business Intelligence:
Data Strategy and Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy to support business objectives.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all business intelligence activities.
Data Analysis and Insights:
Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and inform strategic decisions.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with various departments (e.g., marketing, sales, finance) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
Implement best practices for data management and analytics.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in product management and business intelligence, preferably within the communications or tech industry.
Proven track record of managing the entire product lifecycle.
Strong experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
