Job Description
We’re looking for a results-oriented Growth Lead to fast-track our company’s scale. As the Growth Lead, you will be responsible for managing the company’s entire customer journey, marketing funnel, and corporate communications, focusing on acquisition, engagement, and revenue. You will manage and support activities across all stages of the customer experience, from brand awareness to activation, retention, and up-selling.
You are our ideal candidate if you are a digital marketing expert who understands traditional marketing methods but can take it a notch higher by transforming the “make a product, then market it” pathway into “make a product, then market, then analyze, then remake, then remarket.” -with emphasis on measuring marketing performance.
To be successful in this role, you would have to be product-focused and nimble, taking a data-driven approach to implementing your marketing strategies using analytics to track progress and make decisions on marketing efforts.
You will lead a lean team of growth marketers, content creators, and social media analysts, working cross-functionally with other internal stakeholders including senior management in product & engineering, operations, partnerships, and community engagement to develop initiatives that increase customer acquisition, improve retention rates, and drive overall business growth.
Responsibilities
Oversee the development and implementation of strategies for growth marketing initiatives, with a focus on content marketing, corporate communications, brand messaging, social media marketing, and paid advertising
Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), monthly recurring revenue (MRR), and churn rates.
Optimize the customer journey across all touchpoints, from awareness to retention.
Lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship and guidance while fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
Design and run experiments (A/B tests, pilots) to identify the most effective growth channels.
Drive digital marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels (social media, SEO, PPC, etc.).
Boost offline sales using direct and channel sales strategies.
Develop strategic partnerships to expand distribution channels and identify new growth opportunities
Monitor the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
Leverage data and analytics to make informed marketing decisions, continuously monitoring and optimizing campaigns for maximum performance.
Oversee the creation of compelling and engaging content across various channels to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Oversee the launch of new products, and services; collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Operations, to ensure alignment in marketing efforts to meet profitability goals and target.
Qualifications
5+ years of marketing experience with core expertise in growth and performance marketing
Demonstrated success in driving user acquisition and customer retention across digital channels.
Strong understanding of B2C or retail marketing;
Proven experience with executing digital and traditional marketing projects
Have a knack for process development & improvement
Proven marketing automation experience with the ability to develop data-driven and multichannel marketing strategies/methods such as A/B testing, email marketing, text (SMS) marketing, direct mail, social media, search engine optimization (SEO)
Experience in planning and executing proactive branding and communications initiatives
Agile Marketing Operations: Comfortable in an agile operating environment where initiative is encouraged, and stakeholder consensus is required for success
Analytical: Ability to use various marketing analytics tools e.g Google Analytics
