Description
Client Acquisition for Wood Projects:
Identify and target potential clients needing wood-based projects, including custom kitchens, wardrobes, office and home furniture, wooden wall panels, and wooden decorative pieces.
Approach businesses in industries such as real estate development, interior design, construction, and hospitality to offer bespoke woodwork services.
Develop tailored sales strategies to attract clients requiring high-quality, customized wooden installations and decorations.
Market Research and Trends:
Conduct in-depth market research to understand current trends in wood-based designs and project demands.
Analyse customer needs for wooden solutions and offer creative proposals to match these requirements, ensuring the company stays ahead of industry trends.
Sales, Negotiation, and Project Proposals:
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals focused on woodwork projects, including but not limited to wooden kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, and decorative wood pieces.
Negotiate pricing and project terms with clients, ensuring both client satisfaction and company profitability.
Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure project feasibility, cost estimates, and alignment with client needs.
Relationship Building and Client Retention:
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients in the woodwork industry, focusing on repeat business and referrals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from the project pitch through execution, ensuring clear communication and smooth project completion.
Coordination with Internal Teams:
Work closely with the design, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of wooden projects.
Oversee project timelines and quality control to ensure the final product meets the client’s specifications and the factory’s standards.
Reporting and Performance Tracking:
Provide detailed reports on business development activities, including new wood project pipelines, client meetings, and sales targets.
Track performance metrics related to the acquisition of wooden projects and provide insights on market positioning.
Qualifications & Skills
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 5 years work experience.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role with a strong focus on woodwork projects (e.g., kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, and wooden decorative installations).
Deep understanding of the woodwork industry, including knowledge of wood materials, carpentry, and design principles.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry professionals.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency with CRM software, project management tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
A self-motivated, proactive attitude with a focus on achieving sales targets and growing business opportunities.
