Job Title: Video Editor

Job Description 

• We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our creative team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering high-quality video content tailored for social media platforms.
• You will collaborate closely with our graphic designer and marketing manager to create engaging videos that reflect our brand and capture the attention of our audience. The ability to work efficiently under deadlines is crucial for this role.
• Occasionally, you may be required to shoot video content if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, shareable content for social media.
• Collaborate with the creative team, including the graphic designer and marketing manager, to understand project requirements and deliver videos that align with the brand's vision.
• Add sound effects, graphics, and special effects to enhance video content.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and incorporate them into video content.
• Ensure video content is optimized for different social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Shoot video content if necessary to support the project.
• Ensure all projects are completed within the given timeframes.

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in video editing, specifically for social media content.
• Proven experience creating engaging social media content across various platforms.

Skills:

• Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, etc.).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video content requirements.
• Creative thinking and an eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic videography skills are a plus.

Remuneration

• Salary: N70,000 - N120,000 / month.
• Competitive salary based on experience.

Other Requirements:

• A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.
• Knowledge of trends in social media and digital marketing is a plus.
