Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic team.
• This role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• The Senior Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS or GAAP).
• Develop and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard assets.
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budget and identify variances.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
• Conduct financial modeling and analysis to support business decisions.
• Analyze profitability, cash flow, and other key financial metrics.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff.
• Provide guidance and training on accounting and financial matters.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations.
• Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Liaise with tax authorities and external tax advisor

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA) is required.
• Minimum 5years of experience in accounting and auditing, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Demonstrated experience in tax preparation and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

Salary
N400,000 - N600,000 / Month.
