Job Summary

• We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with strong proficiency in React.js & Flutter to lead the development of front-end platforms for our next-generation HR system, focusing on both mobile and web applications.
• You will be responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing the frontend solutions of our applications and collaborate with our product designers to craft seamless and visually appealing user experiences for our customers. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, drive innovation, and introduce best practices to the team.

What does the job involve

• Frameworks: Excellent experience with React.js and Flutter
• Architecting Front-end Solutions: Design scalable, maintainable, and efficient front-end architectures that align with business and technical goals.
• Lead Front-end Development: Lead the implementation of user interfaces, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
• Code Reviews & Mentorship: Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members while mentoring junior developers on front-end techniques and best practices.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize web applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability, focusing on issues such as load time, render efficiency, and resource usage.
• Cross-Browser & Device Compatibility: Ensure consistent functionality and UI/UX across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes by testing and resolving compatibility issues.
• Collaboration with Designers & Back-end Teams: Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement visual designs accurately and work with back-end engineers to integrate front-end with APIs and services.
• Accessibility & Usability: Implement web accessibility standards (WCAG) and ensure front-end components are usable for people with disabilities, focusing on keyboard navigation, screen readers, and semantic HTML.
• Maintain Front-end Frameworks & Libraries: Manage and update front-end libraries, frameworks, and tools to ensure the tech stack remains modern, secure, and efficient.
• Testing & Debugging: Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for front-end components using tools like Jest, Cypress, or Mocha to ensure robustness and prevent regressions.
• Drive Innovation & Best Practices: Lead initiatives to introduce new tools, technologies, and workflows to continuously improve front-end development practices and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Frontend software developer with 2+ years in a Senior Frontend engineering role.
• Must have experience with React.js, Flutter, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, etc.).
• Must have experience working in a Tech SaaS startup;
• Strong preference for experience in Fintech and Payments services sectors.
• Must have experience leading a team OR mentoring junior engineers.
