Job Summary

• Our Client, an International School located in Ejigbo Lagos State is seeking to employ dedicated and enthusiastic Agric Teacher who have a genuine passion for teaching and can create a positive and engaging classroom experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of teaching experience, a deep understanding of the Nigerian/British curriculum, and strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and teaching of lessons as set out in the curriculum, setting the assessment tasks and marking students work.
• Completing other duties as required by the Principal
• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, student academic progress, and personal management skills.
• Providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their best.
• Fulfilling the requirements of the particular faculty in areas such as: promotion of the faculty, availability for co-curricular activities in the faculty, development of evaluation and assessment policies and procedures, and attendance at meetings.
• Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint and other digital tools to create interactive and informative teaching materials.
• Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess a HND / BSc / B.eD in relevant discipline.
• Must have taught the subject(s) consistently for minimum of 3 years in a reputable secondary school.
• Ability to use the interactive board and PowerPoint presentations for teaching and learning.
• Must be able to demonstrate Classroom management skills
• Must be able to handle student behaviour and discipline
• Must be a 21st century educator with innovative and creative mind.
• He/she must be result-driven and a goal-getter.
• An adapt learner with a teachable spirit.
• A well-groomed individual.
• Excellent relationship with learners.
• Must reside within Ejigbo & Environs
• Must be available to resume almost immediately.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
