Job Title: Head of Business

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • As a Head of Business, you are responsible for spearheading the growth of businesses by sourcing and securing Travel accounts to increase the profitability of the organization totaling billions of Naira in profit as well as develop and implement strategies to further improve profitability and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new customers and also ensure their profitability is maintained.
  • Actively contribute to the growth strategy and wider business plan of the company.
  • Supervise call plan of both the Sales & Operations team.
  • Identify potential Corporate Clients, assess their creditworthiness and target them for closure within a set timeframe.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and ensure that all subsidiary’s targets are met.
  • Develop, Establish and Enforce goals, as well as, policies & procedures for the company.
  • Deal with clients’ complaints as a matter of urgency in accordance with company policy.
  • Define KRAs for your team in sync to the annual target provided for the company.
  • Acquire Large Multinational Corporate Accounts and handling hardcore negotiations.
  • Setting out a long-term, strategic marketing vision for the company in line with growth objectives   .
  • Analyze customer research, the market and competitor data and making recommendations that drive the growth of the brand .
  • Leading all marketing activities and measuring performance through developing  appropriate marketing metrics.
  • Maintaining, developing and researching potential new strategic relationships within the sector to help drive the growth of the brand.
  • Review and analyze sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.

Requirements

  • First degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field. MBA or MSc is an added advantage.
  • Professional membership/certification within the industry is a mandatory.
  • At least 7 years’ professional experience in a similar role, with 4 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong Business and Finance Acumen.
  • Result oriented & target driven with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Exposure and curiosity.
  • Tech Savvy.
  • Strategic thinking and Analytical skills.
  • Strong prospecting skills and Excellent closing skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, & presentation communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service delivery focus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.
  • Excellent attitude and work ethics.
  • Excellent Leadership, Managerial, and Supervisory Skills.
