The Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager will work in collaboration with the Vice President of Sales and be responsible for driving sales, revenue generation and market expansion within Duplo’s target enterprise business segments.
The Senior Business Development and Partnerships Manager will play a pivotal role in achieving the company's overall business objectives and sales targets.
Responsibilities
Assume direct accountability for sales growth and performance on Duplo’s products - payments, expense management and vendor management solutions
Work with the Vice President of Sales to recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to drive recurring revenue across Duplo’s product offerings
Collaborate with Finance, Product Management, and Marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals
Collaborate with Marketing for demand generation, inbound and outbound, and other marketing programs to drive high conversion rates and efficient customer acquisition.
Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities
Develop and analyze sales reports and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies; utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions and continually improve sales processes.
Recommend product positioning and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
Participate in high-level sales presentations and negotiations with enterprise clients.
Identify and establish relationships with potential merchants and suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and agreements; ensuring favorable terms, pricing and SLAs
Structure, price, negotiate and execute large channel partnerships and other agreements
Establish, nurture, and expand the partner relationship to drive increased preference for Duplo’s products and solutions
Drive engagement and adoption by partners to scale business growth
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the enterprise B2B payments sector. Utilize market insights to refine the sales strategy and identify potential business partnerships.
Requirements
At least 8 - 10 years experience in Saas B2B sales, payments, fintech, corporate banking is required
Proven track record of selling to enterprise customers
5+ Years of experience structuring, pricing, and negotiating large-scale partnerships
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding established goals for the business and for partners
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Ability to make decisions in a changing environment, anticipate future needs and drive results.
Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done.
Exceptional communicator (written and oral) with strong interpersonal skills
Can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and figure it out
Be emotionally intelligent, humble, and excited to work within a team with a diverse set of experiences, backgrounds, and skills.
