Job Overview

• A Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering a range of spa treatments to promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and overall well-being.
• Working in a tranquil environment, the therapist will use specialized techniques and products to provide each client with a positive and personalized experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Spa Treatments: Deliver various services, including massages, facials, body wraps, scrubs, and aromatherapy, ensuring high-quality experiences.
• Client Consultation: Conduct consultations to assess client needs and preferences, and recommend suitable treatments.
• Treatment Preparation: Set up and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, organized, and meet all hygiene standards.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of spa products and their benefits to enhance the client experience and make product recommendations as needed.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel relaxed, valued, and satisfied with their treatments.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client treatments, preferences, and any special needs.
• Professional Development: Participate in training and continuing education to stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Certification: Completion of a recognized spa therapy or massage therapy training program.
• Experience: Prior experience in a spa environment is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of various massage techniques, spa treatments, and wellness products.
• Skills: Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, high levels of customer service, and ability to retain calm and composed under pressure.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, assist clients in and out of treatment areas, and perform repetitive movements during treatments.

Additional Skills (Desirable):

• Aromatherapy: Knowledge of essential oils and their therapeutic applications.
• Reflexology: Experience with foot reflexology or similar specialized techniques.
• Body Treatments: Expertise in body wraps and exfoliation scrubs is an asset.
