AFRILAB Medical Diagnostics is a high-tech performance driven laboratory providing detailed, timely and accurate medical diagnosis for private individuals, health facilities and corporate institutions. We are spreading across various states in Nigeria where we have distinguished our self and set a new standard in healthcare and diagnostic services in Ibadan and environs.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Front Desk Personnel

Location: Oyo

Job Description

  • We are looking for a professional and personable Front Desk Personnel to manage our front office and ensure that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently.
  • The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and patients, representing Afrilab Medical Diagnostics in a friendly and helpful manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome clients, patients, and visitors as they arrive at the facility.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring that it is tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Handle inquiries from patients, clients, and stakeholders, providing accurate and timely information about Afrilab’s services.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the day.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and handling patient records.
  • Process billing and payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily financial transactions.
  • Manage correspondence through emails, phone calls, and in-person inquiries.
  • Support the laboratory staff with any clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an OND in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A friendly and professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with patient information.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
