We are seeking a skilled and dynamic HR Coordinator to oversee human resource management across their various companies.
This role will involve ensuring the efficient functioning of HR operations and maintaining compliance with Nigerian labor laws.
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing HR strategies, policies, and procedures across the holding company’s subsidiaries.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Nigerian labor laws, excellent people management skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a strategic role focused on fostering a productive work environment while managing the overall HR functions for over 400 employees across different companies.
Responsibilities
Manage HR operations for multiple companies under the holding group, ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulations.
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, focusing on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention.
Lead recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
Oversee employee relations, addressing grievances, and ensuring a positive and compliant workplace environment.
Administer employee benefits, payroll, performance evaluations, and career development programs.
Ensure the company complies with Nigerian labor laws and statutory regulations, including employee contracts, disciplinary procedures, and termination processes.
Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and foster career growth.
Manage workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning initiatives.
Provide strategic guidance to senior management on HR-related issues and drive continuous improvement in HR processes.
Maintain up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity in line with best HR practices.
Coordinate health and safety initiatives, ensuring the workplace is compliant with safety regulations.
What We are looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience in the manufacturing industry.
Professional HR certifications such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI are strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
Proven ability to manage large-scale HR operations across multiple business units.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse teams.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Experience in talent management, employee relations, payroll, and performance management.

Salary: N400,000 - N500,000 Monthly.
