A Reputable Microfinance Bank is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Managing Director 

Location: Remo Axis, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Roles

• Responsible for overseeing the organization and ensuring business growth, profitability and effectiveness in performance to maximize and sustain shareholders value.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the achievement of the banks profitability and growth targets as approved by the Board and consistently meet keyperformance indicator
• Develop and implement initiatives/interventions as required to increase revenue and/orreduce operating cost
• Ensure that the bank complies with all regulatory requirements and behaves in a socially responsible manner
• Liases with all relevant industry, government and regulatory bodies. ensuring that the banks interest are presented and protected
• Perform any other duty as may be assigned by the board of directors

Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration or any other related course
• Must be a member of Nigeria institute of bankers or institute of chartered accountants of Nigeria (MCIB, ACIB, FCIB, ACA, FCA)
• Minimum of 15 years cumulative relevant working experience with at least 7 years of proven track at management level
• Commercial awareness and deep knowledge of Microfinance banking
• Excellent organizational and visionary leadership skills
• Financial management skills
• Should not be more than 50 years on 1 January 2025.
