Job Title: Business Development Manager - Food & Beverage/FMCS Sector
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients in the Food & Beverage and FMCS sectors, identifying opportunities to expand the Company's healthcare services.
Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals, and track key performance metrics to measure success.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between the Company and senior stakeholders within the client organizations, ensuring all needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead contract discussions and negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the organization.
Client Service & Retention: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues and providing solutions that meet client needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Clinical, Marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery and satisfaction.
Market Research & Insight: Analyze industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and growth in the healthcare services we provide.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account activity, including sales forecasts, client feedback, and service delivery performance.
Client Engagement & Loyalty: Focus on strengthening long-term relationships with existing clients to foster retention and generate new business opportunities.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales, key account management, or business development, preferably within the healthcare, Food & Beverage, or FMCS sectors.
Sales Acumen: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a strong understanding of the sales cycle.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to close deals and maintain favorable relationships.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions based on market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning.
Education: A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA or other professional qualifications would be an advantage.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Food & Beverage and FMCS sectors, with insight into the occupational health needs of these industries.
Travel: Willingness to travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and engage with stakeholders.
