Job Title: Senior Manager - Marketing Research Specialist
Location: Ikeja GRA, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and execution of comprehensive marketing research projects to gather insights on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning.
Analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop actionable insights that guide marketing strategies and drive business growth.
Utilize a wide range of research methods (surveys, focus groups, interviews, data analysis, etc.) to capture customer preferences, market trends, and business opportunities.
Provide deep insights into consumer behavior patterns and preferences to shape marketing campaigns, product development, and brand positioning.
Conduct competitive analysis to monitor competitors' activities, market share, and marketing strategies, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Develop clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate research findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams.
Work closely with marketing, product development, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment of research insights with business objectives.
Manage relationships with external research vendors and agencies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Mentor and lead a team of marketing research analysts, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Experience:
7+ years of experience in marketing research, consumer insights, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research studies.
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, or similar).
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make actionable recommendations.
Expertise in various research methodologies (e.g., surveys, focus groups, customer interviews, ethnography, etc.).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and impactful manner.
Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools is a plus.

N500,000 - 600,000 Monthly Net.
