Job Title: Advanced Coding and Web Designer
Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Coding Curriculum Delivery:
Plan and deliver structured coding lessons and projects, ensuring alignment with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Teach programming languages and concepts, such as Python, JavaScript, web development, and algorithms.
Hands-On Learning:
Facilitate interactive coding exercises, projects, and challenges that promote practical learning and problem-solving.
Encourage students to apply coding skills to real-world scenarios and creative projects.
Individualized Support:
Provide personalized guidance and support to students, including those who may need additional help or wish to explore advanced coding topics.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Assessment and Feedback:
Evaluate students' coding skills through assignments, coding projects, and coding assessments.
Offer constructive feedback to help students improve and excel in their coding endeavors.
Mentoring and Role Modeling:
Act as a mentor and role model, inspiring young females to pursue careers in technology and coding.
Offer career guidance and insights into the opportunities available in the tech industry.
Enrichment Activities:
Organize and participate in coding-related events, hackathons, coding competitions, and tech-related workshops.
Encourage students to explore coding beyond the classroom.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other instructors and hub staff to develop interdisciplinary STEM programs and projects.
Engage with parents, guardians, and community partners to promote coding and tech education.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar).
Strong coding skills and proficiency in programming languages, especially Python and JavaScript.
Prior teaching or tutoring experience in coding or related subjects is a plus.
Passion for empowering young females in technology and coding.
Effective communication skills and the ability to explain complex coding concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills and a creative approach to coding education.
