Human Capital Partners (HCP) is a professional services firm specialising in the provision of HR consulting services covering the entire spectrum of the Human Resources value chain. HCP is the successor firm of the erstwhile Executive Selection and Training Services group of KPMG in Nigeria.

Job Title: Executive Director

Job Summary

• The Executive Director will be responsible for providing visionary leadership and strategic direction to the real estate firm. This role oversees all aspects of the company's operations, including property development, sales, marketing, finance, and project management, focusing on profitability, sustainable growth, and market leadership.
• The Executive Director ensures the firm remains competitive, compliant with regulations, and focused on delivering value to clients, investors, and stakeholders. The role reports to the CEO/the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities 

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall business strategy aligned with the company’s mission and long-term goals. Identify growth opportunities, new markets, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee all real estate projects from land acquisition to construction and sale, ensuring all departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Business Development, Operations, and HR) meet performance targets.
• Financial Management: Manage the financial health of the company, including cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Lead fundraising efforts and monitor investment portfolios.
• Sales & Marketing: Lead sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share, ensuring marketing efforts align with the company’s brand.
• Project Development & Construction: Oversee property development initiatives, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness, while maintaining compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Identify risks and ensure compliance with real estate laws, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Human Resources & Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performance executive team while fostering a positive work culture focused on employee development and retention.
• Business Development & Partnerships: Establish strategic partnerships with suppliers and contractors. Explore joint ventures and represent the company at industry events.
• Innovation & Technology: Drive the integration of modern technologies in construction, property sales, and customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Construction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of senior management experience in the real estate industry with proven expertise in property development and sales.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, financial acumen, and team management skills.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of real estate law, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
• Proficiency in project management and construction software.
