We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a smart Business Development Executive to drive our business growth. The ideal candidate will not only excel in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities but also possess exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • You will be responsible for crafting compelling business proposals, engaging business emails, social media content, and other professional communication to attract new clients and build strong business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Business Strategies: Identify new business opportunities in different Organisation, including hardware sales, server installations, software sales, maintenance, and support services for prospective clients.
  • Proposal Writing: Write clear, persuasive, and effective business proposals tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
  • Business Communication: Craft professional business emails and letters to engage with potential clients, follow up on leads, and maintain ongoing communication with prospects.
  • Social Media Engagement: Work with the social media team to create content for social media platforms to promote the company’s services and generate interest from potential clients.
  • Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business leads through networking, research, and direct outreach.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring that their needs are understood and met through our IT solutions.
  • Follow-up and Negotiations: Follow up with prospects, handle negotiations, and close deals that align with company goals.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the IT industry.
  • 3 - 4 years work experience.

Excellent Writing Skills:

  • Experience in writing business proposals, and business emails, and creating professional content for various platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively manage multiple leads and accounts.
  • Knowledge of IT solutions, including hardware, servers, software, and IT support services.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and how to leverage them for business development.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
