Job Title: Senior Supply Chain Officer

Job Responsibilities
Maintain and develop strong relationships with Suppliers, Contractors, Vendors, Service Providers, Third-parties etc. with a strong bias towards the interest of TEG.
Provide support with Strategic Planning and implementation of our Supply Chain Strategy.
Strong engagement with the logistics service providers and shipping lines to ensure TEG consignments are treated as priority and managed timely.
Maintain adequate relationships with foreign suppliers and ensure all shipping documents are made available for clearing OTIF.
Design and maintain a system for managing inward and outward movement of trucks and skids at our gas processing facilities.
Develop an adequate tracker for monitoring all deliveries in transit, at customer locations, at port and delivered to TEG locations.
Review lead-times and demonstrate ownership of shipments from despatch from poof loading to delivery
Engage regulatory agencies to ensure all required permits are secured for import.
Engage banks to transmit required documents for shipping and clearing.
Engage suppliers to ensure shipping documents meets Nigeria requirements.
Ensure timely payments of vendors and suppliers for services provided.
Responsible for analyzing data and forecasting supply and demand for materials, equipment, and inventories.
Monitoring performance, and reporting identified areas of improvement on all activities.
Provide up to date management information on trends and events to enhance rapid management decision making within the Supply Chain Unit.
Suggest green Chain methodologies within the operations.
Work collaboratively with other internal stakeholders Operations, Technical,
Finance etc.) to ensure smooth supply chain operations and execution of activities.
Continuously review business processes and identify opportunities for improvement in business efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist with any other tasks as requested by the Company management from time to time.
Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Technical Qualification:
Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Procurement processes, Logistics Management, and Inventory control principles.
Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Supply Chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Deep understanding of the Nigerian gas and power sector (an advantage).
Knowledge of Nigerian regulatory requirements for gas and power projects (an advantage).
Professional Qualification:
Membership of a relevant Professional Association is an advantage.
Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain role, ideally within the gas and power industry.
Experience in Logistics Operations is a strong advantage.
