Pro-Wellness Humanitarian Initiative (PROWI) is a women led non-governmental humanitarian/developmental organization founded in 2016, registered with corporate affairs commission, in accordance with the Nigeria Law, PROWI was established to impact the lives of vulnerable individuals in African communities, affected by crises or natural disasters, with special focus on women, children, and other marginalized groups, enabling them to survive, recover, and regain control over their lives and future, through our interventions in thematic areas of Health, Protection, Nutrition, Education, WASH, Peace building, Early recovery and Livelihood. Over the years, PROWI has reached more than 12,000 children, men, women and girls through its interventions.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Prevention Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA)Training Facilitator - (Consultancy)
To facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building on PSEA, safeguarding, Accountability to the affected population to PROWI’s staff members through interactive section
Objectives
To create a safety and conducive working environment where staff and associates learn how to prevent and combat all forms of sexual exploitation and abuse, as well as recognize the damages of such abuses on the victims and the consequences for the organization.
Scope/ Essential Deliverables/ Responsibilities
Topics to be covered:
Definition / core principles of PSEA,
Safeguarding
Accountability to the affected population (AAP)
Expected Outcomes:
Improved skills and knowledge in PROWI’s staff members on PSEA, AAP, Safeguarding
Actionable insights on PSEA, AAP and Safeguarding principles that can be applied to ongoing projects.
Methodology:
Interactive sessions, case studies, and group discussions.
Group assignment
Peer-led sessions where participants share their expertise.
Practical exercises to apply learning within coalitions
Responsibilities
Facilitator: will lead the session and ensure active participation.
Participants: Expected to engage, share experiences, and provide feedback.

A short survey pre-test and post-test will be conducted at the beginning and end to assess the effectiveness of the session
Experience, Skills & Minimum Requirement
Qualifications and Profile:
The facilitator should have:
Bachelor's Degree
At least five (3) years’ experience in facilitating PSEA/ SEA with INGO’s/ NGO’s.
Ability to work collaboratively and professionally while navigating cultural and language barriers.
Ability to be flexible and prioritize projects and tasks effectively.
Be a self-starter: independent, takes initiative to solve problems.
Be highly organized and detail oriented Be fluent in English.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
