Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales department and drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Set sales goals, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team effectiveness.
Foster a high-performance sales culture, driving motivation and accountability.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
Actively manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of deals.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company’s market presence.
Lead negotiations with potential clients, closing deals that align with the company's objectives.
Collaborate with the marketing team to drive lead generation and brand awareness initiatives.
Sales Operations:
Oversee the sales forecasting and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Ensure accurate reporting of sales metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
Implement CRM tools and processes to streamline sales operations and enhance efficiency.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
Provide insights to the product development team to align offerings with market demand.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Must have 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry.
Strong understanding of B2B sales and business development.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
