Job Overview

• We are seeking a Maintenance Manager for our hotel in Owerri, Imo State.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, repair, and efficient operation of the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and systems.
• The individual should have a strong understanding of building systems, be hands-on, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires someone living in or near Ahiazu, Imo State, for easy commuting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of hotel facilities and identify maintenance needs.
• Oversee and perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain hotel grounds, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs and ensure timely servicing of equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Keep records of maintenance schedules, equipment repairs, and supplies.
• Monitor utility consumption and implement energy-saving measures.
• Train and supervise maintenance staff or workers as required.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or diploma in facility management, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility or maintenance management.
• Reside within Imo State, preferably in Ahiazu or nearby areas, to ensure easy commuting.

Other Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues promptly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Flexibility to work on weekends or outside regular hours if needed.

Salary
N55,000 per month.
