Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient Account Executive with a biomedical background to join our sales team in Nigeria.
This role will focus on selling to pharmacies and healthcare providers, ensuring they understand the value of our solution and can confidently use it to improve patient outcomes.
As an Account Executive at Platos Health, you will be responsible for driving sales by building relationships with pharmacists and other healthcare providers, educating them on our solution, and supporting them in integrating it into their practice.
You’ll act as the key point of contact for our clients, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to succeed with our products.
This role requires a blend of sales expertise, technical know-how, and a biomedical background to understand and convey the value of our solution.
Responsibilities
Sales & Relationship Management:
Identify, target, and engage with potential pharmacy partners and healthcare providers to sell our health monitoring solutions.
Build and nurture strong relationships with pharmacists, ensuring they see the long-term value in our products.
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring client satisfaction and ongoing support.
Maintain an active pipeline of leads and opportunities while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Product Knowledge Transfer:
Understand and effectively communicate the features and benefits of our holistic health monitoring software and hardware solutions to pharmacists and healthcare providers.
Provide training and demonstrations to ensure customers can seamlessly integrate the solution into their practice.
Serve as the technical liaison between customers and our product team, relaying feedback and helping resolve any issues.
Consultative Selling:
Take a consultative approach to understand the needs of pharmacy partners and tailor the solution to meet their specific requirements.
Be seen as a trusted advisor by your clients, providing them with insights into how our solution can improve patient outcomes and streamline their workflow.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
Work closely with the product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on product updates, promotions, and client feedback.
Collaborate with technical teams to address complex queries and provide high-level technical support when needed.
Market Research & Strategy:
Stay up to date on healthcare trends, particularly within the Nigerian market, to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to inform product development and sales strategy.
Qualifications
A background in Healthcare, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, or related fields is required.
3+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management, particularly in the health tech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.
Experience with CRM systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
Technical proficiency and the ability to understand and explain both software and hardware products.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients, particularly pharmacists.
Ability to use presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides and document tools such as MS Word and Google Docs. Excel skill is a plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to transfer knowledge and conduct training sessions.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel within Nigeria to meet clients and prospects as needed.
