Job Title: Admin and Security Assistant
Location: Sokoto

Description of Duties
Administration and Asset Management:
Coordinate the logistics and transportation process for staff movement.
Provide logistical support to the organization and preparation of all workshops, meetings, and events.
Perform all the logistical tasks as assigned.
Ensure that suppliers provide proper documentation for goods and services provided to iMMAP Inc. and make sure purchases are done in line with our procurement guidelines.
Ensure administrative briefings for new staff in the Northwest (NW).
Follow up on assets monitoring in the iMMAP Inc. Northwest (NW) office on monthly basis.
Ensure that the asset register is updated when procuring and disposing of assets.
Ensure that inventory under supervision is continuously maintained and all movements/transfers are supported by the correct documentation.
Ensure that all items are well organized and correctly stored, protected, fully identified, and easily accessible (cleanliness, security, access, etc.).
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Security:
Implement and uphold the highest security standards and Northwest (NW) contingency plans to ensure staff safety. This includes monitoring local security conditions, making recommendations to the Country Security Advisor (CSA).
Monitor NW security, conduct risk assessments, enforce security procedures, and offer timely advice to staff and management.
Maintain contacts with relevant authorities and compile NW threat analyses, incident reports, and routine security updates to the CSA.
Coordinate with the Country Security Advisor regarding security incidents, threats and other safety and security related issues.
Assist in implementing safety and security policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) outlined by the CSA.
Ensure compliance with iMMAP Inc.’s global operating principles and risk management policies.
Conduct security induction briefs for new staff and visitors when necessary.
Perform and submit Site and Route Risk Assessments for iMMAP Inc. staff’s regular locations, including field sites.
Requirements
Education:
University an Institute Degree in Business Administration, Security or relevant field
Experience:
With at least 3 years' work experience in Security and Administration field.
Soft skills:
Flexible and adaptable to adjust to changing priorities, demands, and work environments.
Ability to work independently while under pressure and during long hours.
Excellent work habits with a willingness to work in a multi-cultural environment.
Excellent organizational skills, including proven ability in administration, security and logistics.
Excellent communication skills, including drafting documents.
Observation, able to pay close attention to details and observe the environment and behaviors.

Excellent computer skills in the Windows and Microsoft Office especially MS Excel and MS Access.
