Job Title: Academic Administrative Support Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking to employ candidates passionate about education and have a strong administrative background, and are ready to take on a multifaceted role to as Academic Administrative Support Officer.
Job Responsibilities
Prompt production of school publications - printing of all learning resources, workbooks, assessments, timetables, examination scripts, calendars,
Prompt provision and adequate supply of teaching aids and resources to teachers to enhance the learning experience of pupils
Observe lessons daily and feedback to ensure the school’s teaching standard is maintained
Coordinate and invigilate examinations
Collate marks and print school reports
Assist with basic accounting functions, such as cross-checking produced school bills, circulating, processing and reconciling all fee payments
Assist in the general efficient operation of the school, including providing cover for teaching staff where necessary as directed by the head
Ensure all after school enrichment programmes are running smoothly and in line with safeguarding procedures
Participate in school meetings, parent information day and parent-teacher conferences
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Accounting, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years experience in admissions or administration within an educational environment.
Must live within commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan
Practical skills:
Extensive Keyboarding skills and high level of competency in IT (Email, Word Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to use relevant technology and equipment
Attention to detail/ability to make mathematical calculations and enter data accurately
Excellent Oral and written communication
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm approach
Ability to maintain strictest confidentiality and integrity at all times
Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic electronic office equipment such as printers, laminating machines, etc.
Ability to maintain a moderately complex filing system and records
Personal qualities and attributes:
Smart with professional appearance
An effective, articulate communicator who can represent the school to external audiences
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Ability to relate well to children and families
Ability to work constructively and collaborative as part of a team; understanding the range of staff roles and responsibilities
Ability to cope with periods of pressure and prioritise workload accordingly so that deadlines are met
Supportive of the school ethos and be aware of the requirements of working in an educational establishment
Resourceful, positive, and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour
A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work both independently and within a team
Monitor and assess pupils' progress and provide regular feedback to senior management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pupils’ academic performance
Strong understanding of primary school curriculum and instructional best practices
Demonstrate commitment to pupil's learning and success
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Be both detailed and result-oriented.
