Job Summary
The Accountant at our crushing mill factory will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of the facility.
This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
You are expected to have experience in industrial or manufacturing accounting and possess strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and potential issues.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and analyze production costs and variances.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Develop cost accounting reports to support cost control and profitability.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and posted.
Prepare and process journal entries.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
Manage vendor and customer relationships.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Provide detailed financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Assist in identifying financial risks and opportunities.
Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits.
Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and financial standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Implement best practices and streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification preferred.
2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
